APPORTS:
Objects are dematerialised -
transported to another place and rematerialised by Spirit. Often these are given as gifts to sitters.

CLAIRVOYANCE:
Clear-seeing this is mental mediumship, when the medium sees with their psychic vision, either subjectively within the mind), or objectively (seen with the eyes open, as if the spirit were as solid as you and I).

CLAIRAUDIENCE:
Clear-hearing is mental mediumship, when the medium heard spirit, either subjectively (within the mind), or objectively (as if someone was speaking clearly in your physical ear).

CLAIRCENTIENCE:
Clear-sensing is mental mediumship, when the medium can ‘sense’ the size, personality, health problems, and emotions.

ECTOPLASM:
A substance used by spirit in physical mediumship. The material is a mixture of substances taken from the mediums' physical body, and blended with ingredients from spirit.

MEDIUM:
A medium is a person who uses their psychic abilities to enable communication with persons now in spirit. They are called mediums because they are the middle element in a 3 way communication;

FROM SPIRIT ~ TO THE MEDIUM ~ TO THE RECIPIENTS. The communicators can be relatives, friends, guides/helpers, or someone the spirit who knows that the recipient can pass on a communication on their behalf.

OVERSHADOWING:
This is mental mediumship, when the spirit draws very close within the energy field of the medium, in order to exert a greater influence upon their mind.

PSYCHOMETRY:
This is NOT mediumship. It uses the psychic abilities only. The ‘reading’ comes from energy field left upon the item by the person who handled it. TRUE Psychometry is the ability to read the energy field of the object, its composition and origin ~ as in a precious stone ~ country of origin, minerals, etc.

PHYSICAL MEDIUMSHIP:
This is an objective form of mediumship, and normally carried out in a trance state. Transfigurations,
Materialisation's, Levitation, Table-Tilting and raps/knocks can take place, with the use of Ectoplasm (see above). Everyone
witnessing it will see/hear the information from spirit; unlike mental mediumship.

SPIRITUAL HEALING:
This is Mental mediumship that has an effected upon the patient's mind, body & spirit. Spirit Guides and Helpers, who are knowledgeable in working with healing energies work, often with loved ones, to improve the patients health.

TRANSFIGURATION:
This is both physical and objective mediumship. An ectoplasmic mask is formed and moulded over the face of the medium, by the communicating spirit. It looks very real; often the communicator also speaks in his/her own recognisable voice. The medium is normally in trance.The mask, and
voice, can be seen/hear by anyone using his or her normal
physical senses. It is NOT
clairvoyance.
